Faith Crisis 2012

In August of 2012 I went into a full-blown faith crisis. When you think something is "true" and you find out that those things aren't "true", it throws your whole entire faith into a tailspin. I don't know why people lie; why they cover up the truth or distort the history when "they" require total honesty, devotion and money (aka tithing) in order to be a "member in good standing". It has taken me over a year and several months to come to terms with this. My anger and hurt are gone and only my disappointment is left. It is hard to move onto a different faith after being in one faith for over 33 years. Good news is, I still believe in God, Jesus Christ and the Bible. I will get through this crisis - just one step at a time!
